BANDIT'S BLOG 25 August 2008 Hi all OMG I have had such a busy but great month! First one of mum's boarders had to go into hospital for a few days so we had Poppy the Labrador come to stay. She was only 11 months old but grrrreat fun. She was very naughty and loved to cause trouble which I thought was brill. We had grreat fun when Lloyd came over. I really missed her when she went to the boarder but I was soooo tired and slept for 2 days. Then a very old lady (Coby the Spaniel) came to stay for a night. She was very slow and wouldn't play much. Then this weekend Beth the Beagle came to stay, yeahhhh! Mum and Mark walk her every week. Her mum and dad had to go away so she stayed with us. I love her. We had some grrreat walks together and we even shared a bed sometimes during the day. She loves her sleep but she does snore a bit!! When the other dogs stayed I got to sleep in Mark's or mum and dad's room instead of my crate. Well I must go as I haven't had a good chew on a bone for days. Woofs and licks Bandit
18 July 2008 Hello all Well my holiday is booked and I am soooooooooooooooooooooooooo excited. It's not until October but (wags tail furiously) I am going to the Leek Road Hotel (better know as AJ's) Yep I am going to stay with AJ, Woody, Boswell, Paz, Josh and George for a WHOLE week. Below are pictures of the bedroom (with Woody and I testing the beds!!) and the view I get from the window. I love sitting there and having a nap or sun bathing. AJ leaves me a special step called a poofie?? so I can jump up and get in there as I am not tall enough.
Can you imagine it?? A whole week with the bros, (better stock up on tea towels AJ) They even have a pool (well mum and AJ call it a pond!) but I love jumping in and a gym (a big trampoline I have been on with George) and of course there will be all those great walks AJ takes us on (pants). Well Lloyd is over today for DDC (doggy day care) so must run and hide my bones or he will eat them all (hee hee). He was also over all day Saturday. We has so much fun, and we went to visit Pat and John (who are one of mum and dads dog boarders. They thought we were great (well who wouldn't grrrrrrrrrr) Woofs and licks Bandit
29 June 2008 Hello again Well I had my hair cut and as you can see I look gorgeous. It's grrrreat after I have my wash cut and blow-dry. I feel sooooo good. This picture is of me with my fav toy which is a half deflated over sized tennis ball.......... I love it. The other is of me and Bozzie chewing a tea towel (his favourite pass time). I am sure I am almost a big as him!!!!!!!!!!!!! Don't you think?????? Though he can get my head in his mouth. Mum and dad had a BBQ last weekend for dad's work mates and A.J. came too, it was great and I got lots of titbits (but don't tell mum) I was so tired I collapsed on my bed when they had all gone home. I have been on some really really long walks with my dad this week along the canal, I love seeing the ducks. Dad only has to mention "whack whacks" and my ears prick up, I am very good though and wouldn't hurt them. Hee hee I am off for yet another sleepover this weekend. A.J. has a job now so I can't see her in the week (howllll) but at least I can go there at the weekend, I can't wait to see the bros. Mum is going on a course to refresh how to bandage up us animals so she can't look after me. Mark and Claire went yesterday to learn animal first aid. Mark tried to practice on me when he got home, which was fun. Well keep those emails coming. Woofs and licks Bandit
14 June 2008 Hi everyone Cor I have been for THREE sleepovers THREE weekends running to Aunty Jane's. I was sooooooooo excited Boswell and I ripped up a tea towel. I love going there, we go on these amazing long walks, but because I have such short legs I have to run twice as far as my "big Brothers". I even have my own sleepover backpack!!! AJ took some pictures for you too see. Bozzy and I were worn out and laid out in the lounge. Woody was really kind (I do love him) and he let me share his bed and me and the bros having a chat about sticks and bones!
Oh oh oh I almost forgot (wags tail furiously) AJ and mum took me and the lads for a walk down by the river and mum decided I was a good boy and let me of my lead. I had sooo much fun, I stayed with Boz most of the time and raced about all over the place. We went swimming and Boz and I chased a duck, trouble was ducks have wings and there was no way we could fly to catch it. It was laughing at us quack quack quack. I also played with Woody with his sticks. I didn't go too far and kept an eye on where mum and AJ were.
I am off to see Jacqui again today to have a wash cut and blow dry!! I can't wait as I get so hot at the moment. I will include a picture next time. Woofs and licks Bandit

27 April 2008 Hello all Guess what!!!!!! I have been on my first holiday and it was brilliant!!! The holiday didn't start very well cos the day we went away I woke up with kennel cough! Mum took me to see Uncle Pete and he gave me some tablets to take. I had to stay away from other dogs but that wasn’t too hard as we were in the middle of Wales and there were none around. I did a lot of running in and out of the sea and mountain streams which was brilliant. By the middle of the week I had stopped coughing and felt great. Mum reckoned all that fresh damp air made me better. Wales was grrreat! Mum and dad took me all over the place. That sea stuff was great. It was a bit cold and it kept coming towards me, plus it tasted awful. Mum told me not to drink it but I still had to try!!!! The streams were better with lots of rocks for me to climb over. We stayed in a brilliant cottage and there were lots of sheep out side with some grrreat views of big hills. Mum said they were called mountains. Some even had snow on. Take a look at the pictures. I can’t wait for my next holiday, not sure when that will be but I am off for another sleepover with Woody and Boswell soon. They have just been told they have kennel cough too, not from me though as I haven’t seen them for a while. Mum says now I am better she is going to get me vaccinated. I am NOT looking forward to it but Uncle Pete says kennel cough is everywhere. I definitely don’t want it again because it can hurt my lungs. So get vaccinated!!!! Woofs and licks Bandit
Dad says to click on a pic to see it full size and to use the back arrow to return to this page!

29 March 2008 Hi All Sorry about the delay in writing but I have had a very traumatic time this month (everyone say ahhhhh!) Mum found a growth on my back paw (cause I kept licking it!!!) So she took me to see Uncle Pete at the Blue House Veterinary Centre and he said it was a "benign button tumour" and I had to have it removed. I love it at the vets, they are so nice to me and I wasn’t scared. I was really good when I came home with a green leg and I didn’t chew it. My wound didn’t heal very well and I ended up with 3 different dressings!!! 2 green and 1 blue (I’m just glad they didn’t use pink!!!!!) I tried to look as pathetic as I could but I still enjoyed playing!!!!!
Once my dressing was off I was allowed to go for longer walkies again………………………yippee. I found a brilliant stick but mum said it was too big and wouldn‘t let me bring it home (spoil sport). I’m sure I would have managed it.
I am just about better now. Thanks Uncle Pete, you’re the best. Woofs and licks Bandit
6 February 2008 Hi All It’s been mad, mad, mad here since I last wrote to you all!! Mum has had lots of new jobs so she has been too busy to open up the laptop so I can type you my blog. I think my woofing finally got to her and she gave in. One of her new jobs is another brilliant black Labrador (like Lloyd). I went for a walk with him last week; he is a bit slow though!!! Mum says he is an old man, (11 human years) and I have to be respectful and watch my pees and poos or is it p’s and q’s? He lives near Swettenham and we go through woods and over a brook. I love racing around on my long lead and Jake (that’s his name) just plods along without a lead cos unlike me he is a good dog. Oh yeah (pants and nearly wags tail off) I went to Woody and Boswells last weekend. Can you believe Woody was 6 human years old last week (blimey that makes him 42 in doggie years)? We had grrreat fun as usual. There was another dog called Max there too. He was really old and couldn’t keep up. You can see us all in the picture. Mum picked me up a 5 on Sunday evening and when I got in I just collapsed. When I went walking with Lloyd on Monday I was still tired, but then so was he cos he had been playing with his mate Roscoe all weekend! This weekend Enzo and Bentley are coming to stay…………………yippee! Woofs and licks Bandit
Bandit and the gang! 7 January 2008 Hi All I hope you all had a grrrreat crimbo, I know I did. My best mate Lloyd came to stay on the 23rd which was Marks 19th birthday and the day I arrived here a year ago. His mum and dad got married on Christmas Eve. We went for lots of brill walks up the canal and snuggled up together in a big bed at night. Mum tried to put me in my crate but I could hear Lloyd and kept barking!!!!!!! So she left us together. We sat up talking about bones, food and other doggie things whilst waiting for Father Christmas. On Christmas day we had grrreat fun ripping open our presents. Lloyd bought me a brill squeaky cat and some treats. I bought him a cuddly dog dressed as santa and a squeaky blue bone. We also had fun helping others open their presents. We even had some turkey for breakfast. There were 9 people at our house on Christmas and Boxing Day so we had loads of fun. Sadly Lloyd had to go home Christmas day afternoon but that time we were worn out so we didn’t mind too much. You can see how tired we were from the pics below and how we took over the sofa when we could.
We also we attempted to do the nativity for everyone. I wasn’t too keen as I had to play Mary and I am a boy!!!! We do look cute though.
Awwwwww! Yappy New Year everyone. Woofs and licks Bandit
12 December 2007 Dear All Cor I have been really really busy again, no time to write my blog!!! I have been helping put our tree up (I have been very good and not chewed anything) and wrapping presents for all my walking pals and the cats mum cares for. I am not allowed to use the scissors and that sticky tape doesn’t half stick to my hair!!! So it took me a while. I had Bentley and Enzo to stay the other weekend, that was fun , and we were all totally worn out by bedtime. I have also had Lloyd around to stay for the day, twice, since I last wrote. I love it when my pals come to stay. We have to watch what is on the table when Lloyd and Bentley are here as their tails are soooo swishy they can clear a coffee table with one wag. Then this weekend I went to Woody and Boswells and YES we had another sleepover which was grrreat. Mum, dad and Gem went to Manchester Christmas shopping. We went on some really long walks and a swim in Astbury mere. I was very tired when I went home Sunday as I was up at 4am watching Ricky Hatton. Finally I went to Hair Off The Dog this week for a Christmas hair cut. They are really nice there and I came out looking gorgeous!!! Check out the picture below and let me know what you think!! You can contact Jacqui on 07769 502 835 (or view her flyer by clicking here) if you want your hair cut too. Have a grrrrrreat Christmas, I know I will. Woofs and licks Bandit
Hi All. Sorry about the delay in writing the next episode of my very busy life. I have been soooooooooo busy this week. Mum is looking after a new black Labrador puppy called Rocky. He is great and we chase each other around and have a brilliant time. He is so full of energy I come home absolutely worn out And the best news this week is…………………………….Lloyd is back. He is looking very well since his visit to his nans. We had a good run around the dining room table Monday before we went for a walk. Even better news, he is coming to visit me all day Monday cos his mum and dad are busy. It is going to be so cool. I will get mum to take some pictures so you can see what we get up to. I am also hoping to see Woody and Boswell again soon. Gem has a new job, so she can’t come out with us anymore, which is sad, but I am happy because now she can buy me some bones for Christmas!!!!!!!!!!!! I can’t wait for Christmas, mum said there will be lots of paper for me to play with and hopefully there with be some tasty stuff inside it. I mustn’t attack the tree though. Woofs and licks Bandit
7 November 2007 Hi All. As always my sleepover with Woody and Boswell was brilliant, I was sooooo excited when Jane turned up; I sat by the door determined not to let her go without me. Bozzy and I slept on the sofa and Woody on his bed. I just love going there. It’s my second home and I do like to make myself at home when I go there (that’s what Paz says!!) Grrrrrr woof woof, I didn’t like the loud noises this week, mum said they were made by something called fireworks. I am so glad they kept me indoors, safe and sound. They turned up the TV but the loud bangs still made me bark. The cats stayed in too but they are so lazy they are always asleep indoors anyway!!! Mum's friend Oksana came to visit. She is brilliant, she played with me whilst mum had to walk some dogs, I love it when people play with me. Thanks Oksana, I love you (woof). She also walked me when we went for a walk with Lloyd and George. I wanted her to stay but she had to go home. Lloyd, my walking buddy has gone to his Nan’s for 2 weeks so instead I have been for extra long walks during the day to my fav place, the canal. The ducks were up there too quacking away. Take a look at the pictures, it was great fun. Woofs and licks Bandit
25 October 2007 Hi All. As usual I have been very a very busy boy; I must walk miles and miles every week. Lloyd hasn’t been too well and we had to walk slowly on our walks (not very easy for me because I love going very fast!!!) but the good news is he is better now and back to his bouncy self. I have been to play with Enzo and Bentley quite a few times. Enzo likes to sit and watch whilst Bentley and I race about and I always come back worn out. Today we decided to have swimming lessons in the pond, but Jaris wasn’t very pleased!!!!!!! And I have just had the best news EVER!!! I am going for another sleepover at Woody and Boswells!!! It’s mum's birthday and she is off to see someone called Donny Osmond. Will let you know how I get on. Woofs and licks Bandit
14 October 2007 Hello All. Wow I have just had the most amazing weekend ever!!!!!!!! First I went to play with Enzo and Bentley on Friday for a couple of hours, then mum, dad and Gem went to tea at Denise’s (Gem’s boyfriend Adam's mum) they have two rescue cats so I couldn’t go. I wasn’t bothered at all though, cos Jane came to the door and took me with her. I was soooooooo excited I nearly strangled myself trying to jump in the back of the car with Woody and Boswell. Not a good idea as they would have squashed me but I was sooooo happy. We went swimming and then back to theirs for a play. Jane then took me home and tucked me up in bed. When mum and dad came in I was very sleepy and soon went back to bed. I was very tired most of Saturday too. Then Mark arrived (he lives in Chester now) I was so happy to see him. I nearly wagged my tail off. He kept taking me in the garden to play and he stayed the night too and was still there Sunday which was great. I love cuddling up with him in the chair. Then nanny turned up with some treats for me (yummy). Roll on the next time Mark comes to stay, I can’t wait. Here’s some pics of me and the lads having fun. As you can see Boswell soon surrendered to me Woofs and licks Bandit.xxxxxxxxxxx
9 October 2007 Hi All Is it really October already?? Cor my family have been with me for almost 10 months (I choose them on 23rd Dec, Marks 18th birthday last year.) I must say I do have troubles getting up at the moment - my crate is soooooooooooo comfortable. Its horrible and dark in the mornings isn’t it? Last week was quite busy and I spent some time with Enzo as he has been lonely since Max went to doggy heaven. Jaris his mum can’t take him out because she has a big bandage on her foot, so we love chasing around Enzo’s garden. When I visited yesterday I found that he has a new brother call Bentley. Boy he is brilliant fun and we all had a great time running around. He is a BIG dog but I love playing "ruff" and tumble with him. My weekend was quiet as mum and dad were helping Mark move. He has gone to live in Chester so I am sad. He has promised to visit me often so that’s OK. He is my main toy thrower. Gemma has done a great music video of me. I will ask her to give me a link so you can all watch it. Finally thank you to all those who have taken the time to email me. I love hearing from you. Until next time. Woofs and licks. Bandit xxxx
26 September 2007 Hi All Well, what can I say, I had a brilliant time at my sleepover with Woody and Boswell, boy was I worn out! First we went for a big long walk with Rose, Ben and his puppy 'Lola' all along the canal in Wheelock. We then went swimming in Astbury Mere. I was on Boswell's 17' flexi lead! I started out just paddling but after seeing guys swimming, I just HAD to join them, it was brilliant. I was soooooooo exhausted; I slept on the settee that night with Bozzy from 8pm until 7am. Jane didn’t hear a squeak from any of us. I was very quiet and happy when I went home, though mum and dad had gone on their hols so I looked after Gem and Mark!!!!!! Then last Saturday, I went over to Woody and Boswell's again for the day (as mum and dad were still away and Gem and Mark had work) for another 3 hour trek. I was truly worn out when I returned home to Gemma and Jane had to carry me in. I can’t wait to see them all again. Thanks Jane I had a brilliant time. Well, until next time Woofs and licks, Bandit
Here are a couple of pictures of me swimming in Astbury Mere! 10 September 2007 Hello Bandit here again. I just have to tell you about the brilliant time I had at mum and Jaris’s agility fun day on Saturday. Mum and dad took me with them in the morning to help set up. She let me off the lead to have a run about with Enzo and boy did we have fun. We rolled in some great smelling stuff. Trouble was mum was not impressed and I had to have a shower. At least I was all clean and smart for the afternoon. My walking pals and loads of other dogs came in the afternoon and we had a fantastic time, having fun on the agility equipment and jumping over the hurdles. I loved going on temptation alley and couldn’t resist being tempted by all those toys!!!!! Here’s some pictures of what we got up to. Woofs and licks, Bandit xxx PS If you fancy a chat you can email me at Bandit@happypetsitting.co.uk
Me and some of the guys

Me and Lloyd
Woody with Jane and Jaris
Me being very tempted cor all those toys!!!! 5 September 2007 Hi everyone! Bandit here, Mum has given me my very own blog, isn’t it great? It was my birthday today; I’m one year old! My big brother Lloyd gave me this great new toy, I’m not sure what it is but it makes a great noise! I also had a brilliant birthday cake with a candle on the top; although Mum didn’t light it…maybe she thought I would burn my nose when I ate it! I was also given two delicious bones from Mum and a bag of pork scratchings from Dad…yum yum! I had a brill walk with Lloyd, we barked at the scarecrows in Sutton. I’m going for a sleepover with Woody and Boswell next weekend so I’ll let you know how I get on. Woofs and licks, Bandit
