New client consultation meetingA new client consultation meeting must be completed before any boarding, dog walking or sitting services start - there is no charge for this visit. For walking or sitting services: After contacting us we'll schedule a mutually convenient appointment for a meeting at your home. We will meet both you and your pets and spend time discussing your requirements. We'll collect all the necessary information (and keys and codes!) to allow us to do our job and provide you with confirmation of the services you wish us to undertake together with the total cost. For dog home boarding: After contacting us we'll schedule a mutually convenient appointment for a meeting with the host family at their home. You and your dog(s) will have an opportunity to meet the host family and see where they will be staying. We'll collect all the necessary information and provide you with confirmation of the feeding/exercise routines that you wish us to undertake together with the total cost. For Pet taxi services: Please contact us to discuss your requirements. When you are ready to book we will send you our Terms and Conditions and Client Agreement Form to complete and return with your payment. Payment For walking or sitting services: We respectfully request that you pay at least 50% of the total cost of the required services at the time of our new client consultation meeting. The balance (if any) may be left at your home for us to collect on our sitting visit. Payment may be in cash or by cheque (supported by a Bankers card) made payable to The Happy Pet Sitting Service Ltd. For dog home boarding: We respectfully request that you pay the total cost at the time of our new client consultation meeting. Payment may be in cash or by cheque (supported by a Bankers card) made payable to The Happy Pet Sitting Service Ltd. For Pet taxi services: For journeys over 50 miles payment will be required in advance, please contact us to discuss your requirements. Booking Bookings can be taken for any period of time from one day upwards. It is advisable to make bookings as soon as you are aware of any travel dates, especially if you will be away during the peak holiday periods of May to September, Easter, Christmas & New Year, school holidays and all weekends. We appreciate that travel plans are often made on a 'last minute' basis and that unforeseen emergencies can also occur, so we will always work to assist our clients whenever we can.
