VACANCIES FOR "HOST FAMILIES"

The Happy Pet Sitting Service Ltd. is currently recruiting "host families" who reside in the following  Council areas:

  • East Cheshire

  • Staffordshire Moorlands

Working in partnership with The Happy Pet Sitting Service Ltd. host families allow dogs from other families to stay in their homes as pets, receiving the same love, care and attention that they would give to their own dog.  This one-on-one care is recognised as being the next best thing to the dog living in its own home.

Host families are very special people and not everyone can fulfil the criteria to be able to home board dogs.  Being a huge dog lover is, of course, top of the list and the host family may already have a dog or dogs and is happy to welcome more into their home. Alternatively, some host families may not have a dog at present but would like the companionship that a guest dog would offer.

However, host families must have their homes licensed and be able to fulfil the conditions laid down by the local authority.

If you can answer "YES" to ALL of the following criteria you are on your way to enjoying a highly rewarding job - please contact us by telephone (01260 278011) or email (info@happypetsitting.co.uk) to discuss your application.

  • Is your house owned (mortgaged) by you i.e. not a local authority/housing association property?

  • Does this property have a suitable (i.e. not shared) outside area/garden that is safe and secure (fenced)?

  • Are any the children living at the property aged 5 years or older?

  • Is someone present in the house, on a regular basis, throughout the day? (Dogs should not be left for longer than 3 hours and not on a regular basis)

  • Would you be willing to undergo a Criminal Records Bureau check?

  • Can you provide at least 2 verifiable references?
